Case Document Generator
If you have forms stored in Word (DOCX files), you can now use those to generate completed case documents directly from within your case.
How it works:
Create templates out of your case documents with Glade’s support staff
Open any case and navigate to the Documents tab
Click "Generate case documents" and select a template
Review the fields and enter the correct data (autofilled data is coming very soon)
Edit any values if needed, then generate
The completed PDF is saved directly to your Case Documents folder
Your templates use simple placeholders like {{clientName}} or {{caseNumber}} that Glade uses to fill in dynamic fields.
Workflow Assignment Handoffs
For firms with specialized teams (Documents, Paralegal, Accounting, etc.), you can now configure workflow steps to require assignment from a specific team before they fire.
How it works:
In your workflow template, assign a required team role to any step
When that step is reached in a live case, current owners receive a task to assign someone from the required team
The step won’t complete until the assignment is made
Once assigned, the new team member becomes a workflow owner and the step fires automatically
This ensures cases don't slip through the cracks during handoffs. The Activity tab now logs all owner changes, so you have a clear record of who was responsible for each phase of the case.
Autofill Shortcut
When reviewing questionnaires, press "a" on your keyboard to toggle the autofill information overlay on or off. This makes it faster to review forms without visual clutter, and quickly check where data is coming from when you need to.
We've also improved form field focus visibility—active fields now show a clear blue outline in light mode. This should make it easier to use the tab key when inside the questionnaire.
