Connect Your Google Analytics & Meta Pixel

Add your own Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to Glade so you can measure the results of your advertising and tie ad spend directly to the clients who book and pay through your Glade pages.

Overview

If your firm runs Google or Meta ad campaigns to attract new clients, you'll want to know which ads actually turn into booked consultations and paid engagements. Glade lets you connect your own Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, so your analytics and conversion tracking fire on the pages clients reach after booking an appointment or completing a payment.

Glade's own analytics always keep running in the background — connecting your accounts simply adds your firm's tracking alongside it, so the conversion data flows into your Google Analytics and Meta Events Manager.

You'll set this up once in your account settings. It's most useful for firms advertising on Google Ads or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and looking to attribute leads and conversions back to specific campaigns.

How It Works

  1. Open your Integrations settings. Go to Your Account → Integrations. You'll see cards for Google Analytics and Meta.
  2. Connect Google Analytics. On the Google Analytics card, click the blue Settings button. Enter your Google Analytics ID (your Measurement ID, which looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX), then save.
    • To find your Measurement ID, open Google Analytics 4 and go to Admin → Data Streams, select your web stream, and copy the Measurement ID.
  3. Connect Meta. On the Meta card, click the blue Settings button, then enter:
    • Meta Pixel ID — found in your Meta Events Manager data source.
    • Meta Conversions API Access Token — generated in Meta Events Manager for your Pixel, under Conversions API settings. This field is hidden as you type to keep it private.
    Save when you're done.
  4. You're live. Once saved, your tracking begins firing automatically — there's nothing to add to your website or any code to copy. Your settings persist, so you only need to do this once.

Where Tracking Fires

Your connected Google Analytics and Meta Pixel fire on the confirmation pages clients see after taking a key action:

  • Booking confirmation pages — after a client books an appointment.
  • Purchase/payment confirmation pages — after a client completes a payment.

These are the moments that matter most for measuring conversions from your ad campaigns. Glade's own tracking continues to fire everywhere as usual; your firm's tracking is added on top of these confirmation pages.

Key Details

  • You need accounts already set up. Glade doesn't create Google Analytics or Meta accounts for you — you enter IDs from accounts you already have.
  • Keep your Conversions API token private. Treat it like a password. Glade masks it in the settings screen and never displays it in plain text.
  • Glade tracking is unaffected. Connecting your own accounts never turns off or replaces Glade's built-in analytics.
  • You can update or remove it anytime. Return to Your Account → Integrations to change an ID or disconnect an integration.
  • No effect if left blank. If you don't connect an account, nothing changes — your pages work exactly as before.

FAQ

Q: Do I need to add any code to my website?
A: No. Once you save your IDs in Your Account → Integrations, Glade handles the rest automatically.

Q: Which pages does my tracking fire on?
A: Your Google Analytics and Meta Pixel fire on booking confirmation and payment/purchase confirmation pages — the pages clients reach after booking an appointment or completing a payment.

Q: Where do I find my Google Analytics Measurement ID?
A: In Google Analytics 4, go to Admin → Data Streams, select your web stream, and copy the Measurement ID (it starts with G-).

Q: What's the difference between the Meta Pixel ID and the Conversions API Access Token?
A: The Pixel ID identifies your Meta data source and is found in Meta Events Manager. The Conversions API Access Token is generated in Meta Events Manager under your Pixel's Conversions API settings; provide both when connecting Meta.

Q: Will this interfere with Glade's own analytics?
A: No. Glade's tracking always keeps running. Your firm's tracking is simply added alongside it on the confirmation pages.

Q: Can I connect just one of the two?
A: Yes. You can set up Google Analytics only, Meta only, or both — whichever you use.
