Adjusting the AI Follow-Up Cadence for a Client (Glade 2.0)
You can override your firm's default AI follow-up cadence for an individual client, adjusting how often they receive notifications and appointment reminders.
Overview
By default, clients receive AI follow-up notifications based on your firm's overall cadence settings. If a specific client would like more or fewer notifications, you can override the default and set a custom cadence just for them.
How It Works
Open the client's workflow: Go to the client's workflow.
Open the client profile: Click the client profile button, then click Open Profile.
Find the cadence setting: Scroll to the bottom of the contact card and look for AI Follow-Up Cadence. By default, this follows your firm's standard cadence.
Override the default: Click the radio button for Override for this client.
Set the follow-up cadence: Enter the number of units and choose the cadence unit — minutes, hours, days, or weeks.
Set the appointment reminder cadence: For appointment reminders, choose an Appointment reminder source instead — either Firm default, or an override of Frequent (4 reminders), Standard (3 reminders), or Minimal (2 reminders) before the appointment.
Key Details
The override only affects the individual client you're viewing — it doesn't change your firm's default cadence for other clients.
You can set separate cadences for follow-up notifications and appointment reminders.
Cadence can be measured in minutes, hours, days, or weeks, depending on how frequently you want the client contacted.
FAQ
Q: Will this change the cadence for all my clients?
A: No. The override only applies to the specific client whose profile you're editing.
Q: Can I set a different cadence for appointment reminders than for follow-up notifications?
A: Yes. Both have their own override settings in the same section.
Q: What happens if I don't override the cadence?
A: The client will continue to follow your firm's default AI follow-up cadence.
