The DRAFT mark on Petition (Draft).pdf

When you generate a draft petition, Glade adds a thin column on the right edge of every page of Petition (Draft).pdf. That mark makes it obvious the PDF is a draft, not the copy you file with the court.

How to use it

  1. On a bankruptcy schedules form, click Generate Draft.
  2. Open Petition (Draft).pdf in Documents.
  3. Look at the thin column on the right edge of every page.

What the right column contains

From top to bottom:

  • The Glade G
  • A shield and a number. This is the count of Check petition blocking issues at the moment this draft was created. It works the same way as the Check petition badge. 0 means there were no blocking issues. This is a snapshot for the attorney reviewing the printed draft — not a live count.
  • The word DRAFT repeating down the page so it is obvious this is not the filing copy.

When it appears

When you click Generate Draft, Glade builds Petition (Draft).pdf with that right column on every page. Completing the schedules form also regenerates this draft the same way.

Prepare Petition creates Petition.pdf for filing. That file does not get the DRAFT mark. Signature Pages.pdf and the filing Petition.pdf are also unmarked.
