How to stop all follow-ups for a client or change the cadence of follow-ups easily
Follow-ups are set at the firm level by default, but firm users can change them for one client without affecting anyone else. You can also stop all follow-ups for a client when they should not receive any more reminders.
Open a client’s follow-up settings
1. Open Clients and select the client.
2. Open Follow-ups & notifications.
3. Go to Override for this client.
Change the follow-up cadence
Choose Firm default to use your firm’s normal follow-up settings.
Choose a custom cadence to set a different schedule for this client. Select the timing that works best for the client, then review the rest of the follow-up and notification settings.
Stop all follow-ups for a client
In Override for this client, turn on Stop all follow-ups for this client.
This stops every follow-up for this client. It does not change follow-up settings for other clients.
To start follow-ups again, turn the toggle off or return the client to the firm default. You can then keep the firm’s cadence or select a custom cadence.
Important: save your changes
Your changes do not take effect until you press Save at the bottom of the screen. Make sure you press Save after changing the cadence or turning follow-ups on or off.
See the activity audit trail
For each active workflow connected to the client, Glade adds an activity entry when follow-ups are stopped or resumed. The entry shows what changed, which firm user made the change, and when it happened.
Only active workflows receive a new activity entry. Existing history remains available after follow-ups are resumed.
