How Glade Protects Your Data and Privacy with AI

Glade uses AI to help your firm move faster, but never at the expense of your clients' privacy or your professional obligations. This article covers the essentials; for the full legal detail, see our Privacy Policy.

We don't sell your data
Glade does not sell your personal data or your clients' data to third parties. The information you and your clients put into Glade is used only to provide the service to your firm. The only data we ever reserve the right to share is anonymized and doesn't identify you, your firm, or any individual.
Glade acts solely as a technology back office, using it does not waive attorney-client privilege.

Our AI providers don't retain or train on your data!
Glade's AI features are powered by OpenAI and Anthropic under enterprise, business-level agreements rather than the consumer products the public uses. Under those agreements, the case details, documents, and client information processed through Glade aren't retained by them after a request is handled, and are never used to train their models. This is a core commitment at Glade and a main reason we chose to work with these providers under business terms.
Both providers publish resources on how they treat business and enterprise data:

You review everything: Glade is human-in-the-loop
AI never acts on its own inside Glade. You are required to review 100% of what Glade produces before anything is sent, filed, or acted upon. Think of Glade's AI as a highly capable assistant that drafts and prepares work for you, but nothing it generates leaves your hands automatically. Your review and explicit approval are always the final step, keeping you in control and consistent with your responsibilities to your clients and the court.
